Carburettor Kits
A carburettor kit is available for the GX620 to replace the restrictive standard carburettor. The kit, which fits both GX620 and GX620K1, engines consists of a Dellorto Carburettor, manifold adaptor, rubber vibration and heat insulating connector, washable cotton air filter, throttle cable and hose clamps. The carburettor is supplied pre jetted, however some minor adjustments may be required to obtain optimum performance.
Although the carburettor can be supplied with fuel by the standard Honda pulse type fuel pump, it is recommended to fit an electric fuel pump to ensure reliability of the supply.
Full fitting instructions are supplied with the kit, alternatively fitting and setting up can be undertaken by Carward Race Engineering.
The GX670 is fitted with a less restrictive twin choke carburettor, which accounts for most of the extra 4 BHP of the standard engine. At present, no conversion kit is available for this engine.
